Virtual Universe Corporation (CDNX: VRX) Trading Activity
CALGARY, Jan. 24 /CNW/ - Lorn Becker, President and CEO of Virtual Universe Corporation (VUC) said today that the company knows of no material event or change that would cause the rapid increase in the trading price of the company's shares on the Canadian Venture Exchange.
VUC has developed and is actively marketing its Internet-based voice technology known as Virtual Talker. Virtual Talker, a scaleable, client-server technology, enables multiple-person, interactive meetings, presentations and training using high quality voice, text, graphics and shared data, delivered directly to the desktop. A software development tool kit (SDK) has been completed to enable application developers to incorporate Virtual Talker into their products.

Currently, much of the communication on the Web is accomplished either via ``Text Chat'' or via one-way (broadcast) voice. By adding Virtual Talker to these Web sites, multiple users, such as a disbursed sales force using the company's internal web site may want to interact in a more natural way, using real-time, two-way voice communications in conjunction with shared programs and visuals over the web.
