Message from the President
"Virtual Universe is quickly becoming a leader in Internet voice communications
technology. Our proprietary software, called 'Virtual Talker', allows multiple
participants to engage in real-time verbal conversations online. Virtual Talker
applications include Instant Meetings, teleconferences, distance education, online
gaming, customer relationship management and more.
To date, the Company has focused on researching and developing the technology,
resulting in several marketable, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) products
and services. These include Virtual Talker Home, Enterprise and Prepaid. The tragic
events of September 11, 2001 have led to a renewed interest in teleconferencing
as an alternative to travel. Virtual Talker's enhanced Internet teleconferencing
capability places the company in a good position to meet this demand.
In 2002, Virtual Universe will focus on marketing the superior quality and
affordability of its products to selected target audiences, including large, medium
and small business, educational organizations, families who wish to keep in touch
over great distances and niche markets such as Internet 'gamers'. We believe that
Virtual Talker has several advantages over competing systems and that sales will
increase in 2002, as the economy improves and awareness of Virtual Talker products
increases."
